This Douglas C-47A-65-DL was the VIP plane for the California National Guard based in Sacramento. It was used by Governor’s Earl Warren and Goodwin Knight, retired in 1972 and put on exhibit at the California ANG base at Fresno. Governor Knight flew in this plane to San Francisco in August 1954 to give the dedication speech for the then new Terminal at SFO
